Interactive Generalized Semi-Markov Processes

چکیده

We have previously introduced Generalized Semi-Markovian Process Algebra (GSMPA), a process algebra based on ST semantics which is capable of expressing durational actions, where durations are expressed by general probability distributions. In this paper we introduce the calculus of Interactive Generalized Semi-Markov Processes (IGSMP), a variant of GSMPA where synchronizable actions are restricted to have zero duration and which introduces the new possibility of expressing priority and non-determinism. The restriction to IGSMP allows us to introduce a notion of observational congruence that abstracts from internal actions with zero duration. Moreover we use a new technique for expressing ST semantics that allows to deene observational congruence over IGSMP as a combination of standard observational congruence and probabilistic bisimulation. Finally we present a complete axiomatization for observational congruence over IGSMP.
